General information
Static relays (opto-couplers) are more and more used as input/output interfaces for PLC’s, CNC’s, and PC’s. Static relays can offer several advantages over traditional relays:
- absence of moving mechanical member;
- high changeover speed;.
- life not depending upon the number of operations;
- high insulation voltage between the control circuit and load (4 KV).
